“The most dangerous phrase in the language is: ‘We’ve always done it this way.’”
In this cross-disciplinary role, I spearhead strategies for designing and enhancing developer tooling and experiences across the Microsoft ecosystem—from Visual Studio Code and GitHub to Azure. My work directly contributes to increased customer satisfaction, reduced friction, and broader adoption of our platform offerings.
In this role I work intersectionally leading and consulting for engineering teams, supporting customers and partners and GTM teams, from a deeply technical perspective.
Not only do I excel in strategic thinking and product truth, I contribute code to products (both open and closed source) on a daily basis and have written extensive development quality guidelines for Azure template authoring.
Other notable internal contributions include contributing to the deprecation of older Node.js versions in the Azure platform, consulting for the Mariner team on Node.js support, acting as the liaison between the Microsoft Windows team and the Node.js TSC, and supporting the replatforming of partners from other clouds, to Azure.
I helped customers unlock peak performance for their MongoDB cloud deployments by fine-tuning cluster configurations, optimizing data models, and refining application implementations. Working alongside sales teams during critical customer engagements, I provided technical expertise that directly contributed to successful deal closures. I also guided economic buyers and executives in evaluating whether our data cloud services aligned with their strategic needs.
As Lead Developer in the Adobe Experience Manager ecosystem, I wore multiple hats—from fullstack developer to frontend architect—for several global enterprise platforms. Working hand-in-hand with UX teams and platform stakeholders, I delivered high-performance, mission-critical web solutions that met exacting standards.
As part of this role, I contributed to Adobe Edge Delivery Services development as an open-source contributor, to shape their frontend delivery.
Before that I was a fullstack developer in the LAMP stack working as a freelancer and consultant.
My career progression reflects a deliberate path from hands-on engineering to technical leadership roles with increasing scope and impact. Each transition has built upon previous experience while adding new dimensions to my technical and leadership capabilities.

Led product ownership for Microsoft's AI Template Gallery, enabling developers worldwide to access and deploy AI solution accelerator templates at scale.
Built the Template Validation Pipeline enforcing quality, security, and compliance gates for AI templates and infrastructure definitions.
Designed and implemented VS Code tooling integrating AI workflows for authoring, testing, and deploying AI-enabled applications.
Applied RAG and LLM-based architectures in production scenarios: content enrichment, contextual retrieval, and developer onboarding acceleration.
Core contributor to this innovative web framework, where I designed and implemented key functionality including the Web Fetch API middleware, the BroadcastChannel module, and the Node.js middleware supporting Express and Connect API. I also authored a great portion of the framework's documentation, establishing development standards and best practices.
Visit website View codeImplemented the Web Socket API in Node.js core, providing a fully standards-compliant native implementation that allows developers to create WebSocket servers without third-party dependencies. The contribution introduced both server and client classes with 1500+ lines of JavaScript code and thorough test coverage. First landed in Node.js 22 and later backported to LTS version 20.
